Harry Kane

It is still a somewhat relevant reference point to someone's mental state impacting their form on the pitch.

We still don't know how much Kane was invested/lied too.

He's clearly allowed his mind to come around to the prospect he was joining City, also to reconcile leaving a club he loves, with a young family also to factor in moving.

There is an argument that he isn't the only England player from the summer who has been struggling this season, which is probably closer to the truth in terms of his physical performances.

Kane had never attempted to move before, so it was a big situation for him.

I'm still of an opinion that if we can get him for less than £85m notes in January, Pep would sanction it again, and he would be successful.

If I'm Harry Kane watching City wipe the floor with Chelsea, Liverpool and United, my ire would be mounting with each passing week!
I’d prefer Vlahovic all day and every day in between, assuming of course that we can’t get Haaland.

I think if he came in January (which he won't) he would slot right in and start scoring goals given the extra impetus it would give him. I'm afraid for me though he isn't the solution. It has to be that big blonde haired beauty who I won't name for fear of cursing our chances!
Pamela Anderson playing up top?

Calling himself a "big player."
"Coped with it well" by turning up late for training, sulking and downing tools until a change of manager that he approves.

Like I said previously, transfers are part and parcel of professional football. You have to deal with it because its your job to do so.
A player in league 2 getting sold on the last day of the transfer window to another league 2 team miles away and uprooting his family for less than maybe a grand a week handles it well.
This notion that somebody like Kane who is at the club he supports, is idolised by millions, has every aspect of his life looked after by various club officials and hangers on and rich beyond his wildest dreams should be given sympathy doesn't wash with me. Not one tiny bit.

Wasn’t particularly turned on by the prospect of signing Kane in the summer given the younger talent out there. Now, even less so.

Hope we don’t go near him. I’d rather we muddle our way through the season with a False 9 / Ferran and pick up one of the youngsters, who by now don’t need to be named, in the summer window.

Kane would be a very short term solution at this point. Almost a Van Persie to Fergie type move. Pep’s last roll of the dice, no future proofing considered.

If we can’t get Haaland then surely vhalovic would be the better option anyway? Younger, should only get better with pep, around £50m cheaper and probably half the wages?!
