I would be happy to have him as a 10 if Mahrez leaves, Foden replaces Mahrez on the right. Kane would be massive at least for next 4 yrs, spend Rice money on Kane.
 
Bayern has been way too vocal about this transfer for them not to have a strong degree of confidence about landing him

True. Although they are always quite aggressive and vocal when pursuing players. They mostly get them but sometimes do miss out and go off in a huff blaming the selling club. It will only ramp up as well I imagine. Fun to watch when it is not one of ours, and Levy is involved.

I think Levy had his day when he kiboshed the last move. He'll be more interested this time round in cashing in his 'investment' - and then he'll puff loudly that he always did what was in the best interests of the player!
 
They'll make him the highest paid player in the league and he'll sign a 4 yeat extension or something. He strikes me as the type who is more arsed about Shearer's record than actually testing himself elsewhere.

Or he can just wait another year and leave for free, wherever he wants. There's very few clubs that wouldn't happily take him on a free and give him the same obscene wages that Spurs could offer him.

There's no need for him to sign an extension unless he truly wants to stay there.
 
While Kane has won nothing at Spurs you have to feel that the personal accolade of surpassing Shearer will be quite important to him. He’ll forever be talked about as potentially one of the best ever. It would be very strange for him to give that up for a Bundesliga title. Even as a City fan I’d respect it more to see him pushing for a move to another top PL club.

He can move back later and take all the pens for side to catch this. dont think he's that short on the target and clever enough to play a sheringham type #10 role for a side.

Agreed. It’s one thing to beat it & another to smash it completely while still competing in the PL for another top team. We’ll soon find out!

He is at least two seasons away from beating the record. That is if he matches the form of his last season rather than the 4 before that. And barring injuries.

He is guaranteed a league title with Bayern even if he doesn't play all the games. And gets CL football too. Surely that would be the preference.
