However, despite Pep having relied on Laporte more and more last season. Pep himself in the above post has outlined the reasons why he tends to swap CB defenders in and out. I think it's more than likely that he will do the same with Laporte to avoid burn out, injuries and simply because there are too many games. Prem, FA Cup, League Cup and Champs League.

We will see though.

You just proved you are a child by using an article from sly sports to try and back up a point. Incidentally that article was from March 19, and from that point City played 14 games, care to take a rough guess at how many Laporte was rotated in? As you are young I will give you a clue, it was a very fucking round number
Okay. We will see.

Laporte plays no international football. He has long summers of rest and regular breaks throughout the season. He therefore needs little rotation.

Just so your aware the article from Sly sport was used to suppor your view not mine. In terms of this season your correct. However, the first article which quotes Pep himself backs up my point on how and why Pep rotates his CBs. I was aware of exactly when the article from Sly was published. Finally accusing me of being the child whilst insulting me for no apparent reason.
Mmm?

You may be right on Laporte playing over a 50 - 60 game season, next season without rotation. But we will see.

Still it's a lot of games without internationals and asking to to that again this season is asking for trouble. Komps was injured most of last season, Stones was injured and dipped in form and Otto not fancied and I think this also had a bearing on the number of starts he made. That and the fact he is brilliant.

We already saw you plank. In the 14 games after this article Laporte played ALL 14. Of course he will get RESTED for the odd game, but he won’t be ROTATED to give someone else a chance. If I could give you some advice it would be when your argument is clearly proved wrong, responding with “we will see” does make you look a bit juvenile.

Anyway from memory the thread is about Maguire, and in any event you probably have homework you should be doing

Harry Maguire has apparently bought a house in Manchester.Info came from guy who has done his insurance.Seems legit as same guy does Rooney insurance.

Back on thread, I like Maguire, he is a good player and appears to have a good personality, but in my opinion he is nowhere near worth the fee being talked about, and although older I would keep Nico as I think he is a better defender, and if Pep could convince him to say he would be perfect to keep until Garcia has developed a bit. Save the Maguire money for elsewhere

We need to focus on the Prem and Champions league next season, enough with the cup games.

Rotating players is to give them a rest.

This will never happen under Pep.

I heard an interview with him.... Or it might have been Yaya and he basically said its a mentality thing.
You can't achieve the results we achieve whilst your happy to focus more on some games than others. He said you absolutely have to attack every single game like a cup final.

And in fairness his results speak for themselves.

I couldn't be bothered reading. Got as far as plank. So whatever you've said. Ok
