Has it disappointed you that were not expanding the stadium,

There is no way on earth an expansion will mean a reduction in ticket prices across the board. Someone mentioned a reduction for those sat in the gods to make the atmosphere better up there but there wont be reductions across the board

If anything, you can expect the ticket prices to increase the more successful City becomes, whether they expand the stadium or not. It is inevitable. It won't be as high as Arsenal though..

Well lads, at a guess Abu Dhabi will not expand the stadium until they feel that they can sell out a new expanded stadium..There´s no point otherwise.

Surely there is a point... the installation of new corporate boxes and sales of them, which would increase matchday revenue significantly? We'd also fill the majority of a 55,000 seater for many of our games.
If we expand from 48k to 60k I'd guess at least half the increase would be for premium seats (boxes, hospitality, etc).

But we never sell out the corporate seats as it is, it winds me up how many empty seats there are in there.

The stadium will be expanded at some point, we are consistently selling out at the moment and, based on the assumption we'll continue to be competitive on the pitch, it will continue to sell out going forward.

It will involve some fairly major construction work to add the additional seats, and given how far away we are from the rest of the development surrounding the stadium, it makes no sense to expand the capacity at this stage. Give it another 12 to 24 months though and it may well be on the cards.
