Have the nerves kicked in yet?

Yes - it's always the same with me. I keep telling myself that we are the better team rtf but can't help but worry. It's not just this game - I always feel like this. Wish we were on the road now and getting nearer to kick-off!

All of the Utd fans who know me have this week suddenly remembered that they are all lifelong diehard Reds and have reached out to me.

Each of them, to a man, said that I must be lying or exaggerating when I pointed out that it is now a decade since they finished above City.

My pre derby nerves are sparking. Don’t underestimate these twats. They have beaten us , Arsenal and the Dippers this season, and I recall many derby wins when we weren’t given a prayer . If we go into this game half arsed because of the Istanbul game we may come unstuck and that will take the gloss off the season no matter what .
pep will know how they will set up

So I will wait for the first ten minutes to see if we start cagey or with authority and take the game to them.

Started yesterday for me, can't concentrate on anything and been proper irritable. I think I'll be shot faced drunk by dinnertime tomorrow.
I'm just desperate for a good game that isn't decided by the referee, the F.A. Cup is the big one for me, after the league it's the most important competition and I really, really want to spank those bastards senseless all over the pitch so they don't know which way is up, I want their half of Wembley to be empty after 60 minutes.

Not feeling it yet as cup final week isn’t the same as it was in decades past. Will tomorrow from about noon onwards

Yeah, it’s all I can think about tbh. I just wish it was done. Hate Derby games… get too wound up by the cheating bastards ( officials especially). I will be ecstatic if we win , just can’t wait for it to be done. If it wasn’t “them” I would just see it as training for the Inter game. C’mon City smash the fuckers.
