Have you ever applauded an opponent's goal V us?

I can't remember actually clapping an opposition goal but I'm the first to praise a good goal if it's scored against us.

Yes, the odd time when it's a really good goal. But never if it's one of those teams/players I absolutely hate.

The one I can remember which I think majority of Blues applauded was the Andy May penalty in the 10-1 win against Huddersfield. Remember him turning and bowing to the Kippax.

I remember Cyrille Regis getting a standing ovation of City fans after he scored a wondergoal for WBA at Maine Road.

Many a time when the oppo have scored a good goal as despite it being against my beloveds, I still appreciate good football.

Never done it for the rags though, bizarrely.

Me to I will applaud if its an outstanding goal against us by anyone bar the rags. The last one was Fulhams against us in the carling cup this year.

That was the one I was going to mention, great solo effort.

Like robsta's classic Andy May moment, remember loads of blues on the Kippax clapping Paul Power when he came back and scored for Everton en route to a title medal, having sadly become an unjustified boo-boy scapegoat in his late days at city. A true blue was Power

Reading about Robin Friday, there was one cup game where referee Clive Thomas stood agape and applauded a particularly fine goal by the ill-fated Reading phenomenon.
