Have you ever eaten rabbit?

Roasted young rabbit stuffed with sage apple and onion is good. Older ones curried or stewed.
There weren't many around last winter in the Shire for some reason.

So weird, I saw rabbit on sale for the first time in a butcher a few weeks ago in Dublin. I am taking this as a sign to buy it and try it

I had it at the restaurant That Cafe and enjoyed it .. Mrs Tot made a rabbit pie for my dad a couple of years ago , bought pre packed frozen rabbits from Littlewoods Butchers in Marple . Great butchers

Growing up in Northenden, my grandad used to make rabbit stew when he could

Delicious
I don't know what Northenden has to do with it but...yeah, growing up in Northern Moor, my mam used to make a nice rabbit stew too. Maybe they hunted rabbits in Wythenshawe Park?

Used to cook them and make chicken pies. They were frozen and bought in from rabbit farms in China. Mmmmm !!
Yeah, on the packet, it's described as "CHINESE rabbit". Is that to make us think it's not the same cute, fluffy bunny rabbits we have as pets??!! haha.
