Going in to " What Good Am I " sung by Tom Jones.

Then 3 Elvis songs obviously !
"Always On My Mind" and "Suspicious Minds" between non-religious readings.
End of service - "American Trilogy " live version , with the request that people stay till the end when Elvis says " Thank you very much " !

Went for an MRI recently and requested any Elvis songs while I was in the scanner.

They played the 3 Elvis songs I had chosen for my cremation service .

The exact same tracks.
In the precise order !!

Freaked me out !!!!

My dad was a huge Queen fan and when we carried him into the crematorium he requested Who Wants To Live Forever. The outgoing song was Another One Bites The Dust.

Only me and my brother knew that was the song and when it came on everyone pissed themselves laughing. It was definitely the reaction he wanted!

I had "Memories" by Elvis played at my Mum's funeral, selfishly for myself as I have nothing but wonderful memories of her.
