It's not a super league, per se, that I am against, but two things:
i) It being run by United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern. You think the PL is bad for City? Welcome to hell.
ii) It replacing the PL, well a reformed PL anyway.
I still think the continental leagues should make a "super" league amongst themselves. Improve the quality of games, increase attendance and so more sponsorship. Two super leagues, if you will, the EPL (English PL) and the, err .... EPL (European PL).
Think of the cross-over possibilities: conference play-offs, superbowls, a world series. Am I going too far?
