Have your views on a European Super League changed in the last three years?

Bayern were having none of it to be fair to them. They weren’t involved in any of the planning or meetings and refused to put their name to it.
Bayerns main arguement against was it would weeaken domestic leagues, which is a joke of a comment comsidering their stranglehold over their own league competion for decades.

Ultimately in a ESL bayern are not guaranteed any successor prestige, so if you don't need the cash like the red shrts here, spanish and catalan teams did it isn't worth joining to be mid table and shunned domestically by the rest.

The PL can and must be cleansed and completely reformed/restarted.

The swamp must be drained.

Professional experts must be appointed

A Regulator will be appointed.

New and legal rules will be introduced.

Transparency and scrutiny will be paramount.

The cartel will be neutered.

Nothing and no one must be sacrosanct.
The Swamp must be drained? Won't they have to fix the roof first? ; )

Not asking for much then :)

Joking aside everything listed is needed .

Still see it as a way for the big Spanish clubs to bail themselves out of trouble. The rags to ensure their on pitch performance doesn't jeopardise their place at the top table, and the usual suspects to further guarantee themselves and even bigger share of the money in the game. All at the same time as moaning about city ruining football.

No. Still against it. But it's likely to happen at some stage. Isn't the new CL format a super league by default anyway?
It will happen at some point as a replacement for the CL. The clubs can hugely increase their incomes by running their own broadcasting rights. This is easy in the Digital age. The Clubs own the content and don’t need the broadcasters any more. City v United pay per view would net each club at least £100m. That’s what they get for a season now.

It will happen by the end of the decade in my opinion, but it will include delegations from CONCACAF and CONMEBOL as a minimum, allowing North and South American teams to be involved.

A lot depends on the success of the USA World Cup, if that is a success, there will be an almighty push from American broadcasters to make it happen, and once that occurs the money will simply be too much to turn down.

FIFA will back it as well as it could take "socccer" to ridiculous heights in the USA, to levels that they could never envisage 10 years ago, let alone 20 or 30.
