Hillsborough - The Search for Truth

I imagine these people have never drunk at football matches. Shocking listening to it all on talksport

Dont be so pathetic. Too many people on here being high and mighty today, celebrating the finding, when i could bet top dollar that none of contributed to helping the truth come out.

If it was left to most on here then it would have been another 23years and longer, so just remember that before criticising

You are quite correct I didn't contribute but I also haven't blamed anyone the way you and several others are still passing blame at Liverpool fans despite todays findings.

Overall I had little feelings either way before today but after listening and hearing of all the lies and deceit from everyone but Liverpool fans I find it hard that 'people' like you still want to critisise them.

I'm not one for blowing smoke up any MP's arse, but thought Cameron spoke very well. Glad there has been an apology, hopefully the families of the victims get some closure.

As for a government conspiracy, there seems little evidence for this, if the police were lying, changing statements and alcohol testing within hours, i dont see how that could have been arranged from London, when there was confusion and far less methods of communication than there are today. Probably wont stop some blaming Thatcher, having been on the end of a few yorkshire police trunctions, i have no doubt of their contempt for football fans, especially at the time.

I hope the Sun issue a full apology, fucking cunts that they are, quick to demonise anyone, whether they were briefed by the police to or not, what they wrote about the dead, with no evidence to back it up was the lowest of the low...

so i assume you didn't celebrate sergio's goal back in may seeing as you did not contribute one bit to the football being played on the pitch?

i'm over the moon about this. my wife is from bootle, and knew a lad who was killed that day. i also have many friends who are liverpool supporters, and whilst being completely deluded, and it usually being impossible to have a decent chat about footie with them, finally there is public acknowledgment that this was nothing to do with the liverpool fans

I agree nobody should die in a ground 100%, and i feel sorry for the families involved, however nobody the reluctance of liverpool people to take on any blame whatsoever is hypocritical in my view.
Have you heard or learned nothing today? Do you have cotton wool balls in your ears?

The outcome of the review of thousands of previously confidential official documents was that the fans were in no way to blame for what happened and were the victims of a smear campaign concocted by the police.

It's frankly frightening that you could come out with a pile of shit like that when all the evidence has, for the first time, been laid quite clearly on the table.

Where did i blame Liverpool fans for the incident?

..................

All i said is that Liverpool are no saints (Heysal anyone?) and at current the JFT96 campaign is typical of them and their victim mentality

As today proved though they were victims that day and have been ever since in regards to Hillsborough

And that gives them a right to be victims about everything else does it?
They paid the price that day for previous hooliganism at the time, which is a geat shame, but thats the way it was, though the coverup afterwards was nothing short of shocking

Have you had anyone close to you die? I have lost my mother, and if i thought for a second someone was to blame for that, i wouldnt rest until i thought justice was served. JFT96 was justified, and if it helps bring closure to just one person, then its worth it.

This has been a scar on football, not Liverpool for years. Just because Heysal was partly their fault, doesnt mean this was, they were just trying to watch a game of football ffs.
