Hillsborough - The Search for Truth

first of all i am no drama queen, just a cynical old bloke who generally expects the worse because that is what life serves up
Today, i was sat in my car listening to Cameron with a sense of bemusement. I knew no-one at hillsborough, or even anyone who knew someone, yet as he listed the findings, i shed a few involuntary tears, i just cannot imagine what the families and friends of the victims must have gone through.
Right, there were some disappointments for me, i was hoping the coroner who declared the cut-off time would be damned for his decision, that the senior police officers involvement in freemasonry would be mentioned regarding the seemingly endless blocks they were able to put in the way of any meaningful investigation. Judges, CPO's, coroners seem to have their own laws/lodge
Kelvin Mackenzie, was employed by News Corp, they were the main and most persistent agent of the police lies, and they have not been called to account and made to explain why they acted as they did.
The F.A. and SWFC had an easy ride, choice of venue, allocation of ends, safety certificate, no explanation.

You must have shit for brains. Whatever we all think about the Scouse victim mentality it's quite clear that the Hillsborough families were totally justified in pursuing their campaign.

Prestwich on his highhorse again. No surprise there. Whilst you lot chat about this on here (or maybe you should go and support lpool instead) i'll be having a proper debate at the supporters meeting

Enjoy....

Is that before or after you piss on the graves? You are a fcuking disgrace.

christ, some shite on here i've had to plough through

i've been pissed at a match plenty of times and i've tried to get in without a ticket plenty of times - apparently i deserve to die for these 'sins'

Has anyone actually said that anyone deserved to die?

If anyone from my family had died there I would be screaming for someone's blood right now. I'd want that **** Kelvin MacKenzie fucking hung, drawn and quartered. I'd also expect a full apology from that fucking arsehole Boris Johnson - can't wait to see what that twat says.

Oh, and for all those having a dig at Thatcher (and rightly so if she knew about it), every single fucking Prime Minster that came after her needs to answer questions on why they allowed this to go on. There is no way that any of them didn't know what was going on, it's just a fucking disgrace.

This is a fuck up of monumental proportions. Someone needs to be prosecuted, but I'm sure absolutely fuck all will happen.

Lastly, I hope someone gets hold of that arsehole with the '96 WNE tattoo and sits him in front of the news tonight and shames the **** into getting it removed.

Reading that report is like a horror story.
I saw a Police Officer with a flat cap. I presumed he was of higher rank and I said to him that I was a senior surgeon. I asked him to give me a Police Officer and we would go around all the casualties and I would tell him who needed urgent treatment and who could be left until later. He did not reply and turned away to talk to someone else. I then went to try and help where I could
I'm not going to quote anymore because this is one of 100's of failings like this.
The scale of the cover up with the media pushing it is incredible.
Yorkshire Police used the same hiding the truth tactics as they used at Barnsley when we had trouble their, liars then liars now.

Yes the police at Barnsley were a disgrace. South Yorkshire again?

They stormed underneath that stand on horseback crushing kids. They were masked up and the investigation after was a joke.

When blues questioned their colleagues tactics the police stood smirking.
It was pure LUCK that no one died that day. Blues were saying that we deserved to be targeted as some blues were robbing the food outlets. Not ALL blues rob kiosks.

Call me a cynic but now these findings have been released will there be anyone to hold accountable. I mean the policemen who made the decisions that affected the events would have been senior officers so maybe around the 50 year old range. So now they, if still alive will be over 70. By the time it gets to court if it does I seriously doubt many will be still with us and if they are who wants to put a 70+ year behind bars.

A public apology or pardon or whatever the official title is with a token compensation package is my guess. Which isn't really justice. Something similar happened with the Birmingham 6 or Guildford 4 iirc.

So glad the truth has come out but it's convenient for a lot of people isn't it. No one left in any position to truly be held accountable.

Just watched the local news programme on BBC tonight. A Professor Hogan from University of Liverpool likened the conspiracy/cover up to the recent events that have prompted the Levenson enquiry. The police, MP's, FA, etc all making sure they 'cover' each other. Thankfully, although it is twenty three years late let's hope that for the 96 they can now go on and receive true justice, particularly for the families and those in Liverpool affected. I have a very strong memory of going in Asda in Longsight on that day and just ambling casually along until I got to the aisle with the TV"s on. There is something very wrong about parts of the British establishment which I worry still persists to this day.

Police on horseback had little respect for any fan back in the 70's and 80's. I was about 14 when I got caught up in the post match 'celebrations' of Grimsby fans outside the ground after they beat us in a cup tie back at Maine Road. The police charged all the fans on that street and even a 14 year old thin little girl.
To this day I'm thankful I got out alive.

Nothing really he said something about Scoucers being rather self pitying or something like that, nothing to do with this, they got upperty about it, it was an observation, its all about free speech really
