Julian Nagelsmann (Hoffenheim coach): "[Captain] Kevin Vogt's troubles got worse at the weekend. In order to prevent a muscle injury, he will not play tomorrow. None of our other injured players will be fit tomorrow."

Julian Nagelsmann: "Manchester City will be expecting to win the game but we have a very brave plan. Our strength is our football. Everyone who plays tomorrow will be brave on the ball."

Oliver Baumann (Hoffenheim goalkeeper): "Manchester City are very dangerous on the wings and it will be difficult for our full-backs to defend against their speed in the final third."

PEP: We have five finals ahead in the Group Stages. Tomorrow is the first final. Like Vincent said perfectly, it’s a top quality competition, it’s so complicated for all of us and we try to be stable. I think we are making steps forward.

PEP: Julian Nagelsmann is so young and Hoffenheim keep getting better and better. He will have a lot of success in his career. I am looking forward to facing him and hopefully it wont be the last time we play each other.

Always seems in the champions league we get decisions against us as we play as we would in the prem. Majority of big tackles in the prem that are fair would be deemed a foul in the CL as the refs are used to the german/spanish style. Always slows our play down and we struggle to get a grip of the games. Hoping we pull it out tomorrow as its a must win game after the lyon disaster.
Ill be there in Hoffenheim shouting the boys on, come on blues! Lets get behind them and get the game won!

Apart from when one of our players is carted all over the pitch, then they adopt the PL style of ,sorry didn't see it.

Watched Hoffenheim v Shaktar. Was very impressed with them. They are there for the taking at the back, but get forward with numbers
and are very good to watch. Kramaric who struggled to get in Leicester's side, plays for them and looks pretty good in this side.
Still think we should be too strong for them.

PEP: Delph, no. @benmendy23 maybe (back for Sunday) - we have enough days until the game so hopefully. The problem is that they still didnt train with us, so hopefully when we return they can train with us.

Ederson
Walker Stones Laporte Zinchenko
Fernandinho
Bernardo David
Sterling Agüero Sané

Let's go out there and show why we are one of the best teams in Europe. Like we did in Napoli last year.

I remember Kramaric and I remember being impressed with him when I saw him for Leicester but never got much of a sniff with Vardy and Okazaki in the team.

He doesn't seem to play as an out and out striker, which I always thought he was. He seems to be given license to roam wherever and is involved a lot in their
attacking play.

Yeah I mean I don't know if he was ever a natural goalscorer and always kinda saw him as a natural 10, he has good control and quick thinking.
