^^^ if you're in the front rows bring a sign slagging the media off.Watch yourself if your in the front rows. Media will be on the look out for City fans screaming at players / opposing fans. Easy story to be had.

Don't underestimate the fact that Hoffenheim have a tough home game with Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday.
Hoffenheim are 7th whilst Borussia are 2nd,and Nagelsmann may see the Bundesliga as a higher priority and hence play a weaker side against us.

I think we should drop Ederson for this fixture give him the night off. Put Muric in & stick Grimshaw on the bench. Ederson hasn't been with it for a few weeks now.

Would definitely rest merlin and dinho would also give Sterling a night off with all the media/racism shite going around, would be nice to ease KDB back into action from the bench if he is nearly fit , and Foden and Diaz to feature as well , we do need to top the group though and avoid the big guns.

If our squad is so good then Pep has to use them in games like this. Lyon are going to have it tough in order to qualify even, Shakhtar dumped Napoli out last seaaon and will have the ability to do the same to Lyon. Even if we fail to win we top the group so please rest Walker, Laporte, Ferny, Silva and Sterling. Beating Everton on Sat is huge as the rags will be even more pumped up to prevent the dippers going top (they hate them more than us).
Losing top spot after only 6 days would be wonderful to see. Especially if it follows them being dumped out of the CL by Napoli and the huge blow to their self esteem that would bring.
We need to focus on the league. Our squad gets a point at least against Hoffenheim which is all we need to top the group which is vital this season judging by who else will. The league cup can also do one and should only be for squad players. The exceptions being Aguero and De Bruyne should they need minutes. Gabby can play all the games as he is young enough and needs a run.
