Holidays

I'm minded to agree but I'd probably go for Barcelona (away from football) it's as good as Seville AND it has the coast and its far easier to get to! And indeed I'll be there in July/August
You can’t argue that Barcelona is incredible and there’s a lot to do. Going for 5 days over New Year.

But Barcelona, like Paris, Rome, Prague etc., is well known for being a great destination. The thing I can’t understand is why Seville isn’t up there with them.

San Sebastian in beautiful

Pinxios and red wine in every little shop.
It's dangerous you just keep eating and drinking and when it comes to pay they just ask what you had! and you half stuffed!!

Enjoy
I’m there at the end of March, can’t wait!
Any recommendations would be much appreciated

Sorry for the delay Rob.
Wow that is sooo professionally done and great to see you in the flesh so to speak.
I’ll be there two weeks today and will definitely enjoy the experience of your Top Three.
we were there in March a couple of years ago. Scorchio and loads to see and do. Pick your flamenco shows carefully and avoid the most commercial. Its a fantastic, fantastic city.

Can't wait pal. I'll leave the drinking to the wife whilst I stuff my face. Not been to Spain in years so massively looking forward to the food.

There are 3 as soon as you go under the arch into the main part of old town, can't go wrong.
San Sebastian has the most michellan stars per captain any where in world.

Top place for food!

I love that place, pincho's and beer all day with a nice little stroll up and down a beautiful beach, looks great at night.

Its crazy serving yourself in those bar but its got a great vibe, the staff are bang on it.

Leaving for a cruise/Carribbean stay in 30 mins.

Had a couple of cruises before but first time to this area of the world.

See you all in the QF's and top 4/5 (fingers crossed).

Sailed through T2 and having a Holt's now.
Well the cruise part was fantastic, off board now and in a posh 5* hotel....in the 5*+ bit.

Hope they'll all enjoy me shouting at my phone watching the NF game at 8.30 in the morning ;)

Booked for Kassandra Bay Suites, Skiathos in September. It looks fantastic, and the reviews are all top notch. Buzzin.

Excellent guide Rob. Very useful. Just out of interest, how far in advance would you advise booking Ave train tickets for travel at the end of May?
Thanks, glad you found it useful.

AVE tickets are usually released about three months in advance, so I'd advise booking them now if you know your dates.

Also have a look at the IRYO service. We used this to travel from Seville to Barcelona at Christmas and it passes through Madrid. It cost us 64 euros each for first class, which would have been the price for the AVE standard class seats. The train is the FrecciaRossa - a joint venture with Trenitalia. Funnily enough our video on the channel this coming Saturday is a review of the IRYO service.

Cheers Rob. Thanks once again. Will check out your upcoming video.
