We've just booked a trip to Malta to see Andre Rieu. We did the same a couple of years ago and the atmosphere watching it outdoors on a balmy summer evening in the shadow of the citeeeh walls was stunning.
 
I'm off to caletta de fusta in Fuerteventura on the 15th of May. Was there about 30 years ago. I'm sure it will have changed a lot since then. One question though, have heard it can be very windy. Does this make it feel cold in the early evening? Should I take a jacket with me?

Just read another tale of someone beig denied boarding because their passport did not meet Schegen rules, going to Denmark this time.

A passport must be within 10 years of its date of issue on the day you enter the EU,
and must also be valid for at least three months after the end of your stay.

Oh you have a wonderful experience ahead of you. I saw Moose and bears almost within touching distance around Banff.
Vancouver and surrounding area is amazing. If I were younger I would join my son and his family out there.
Have a wonderful time. If you get the chance in Victoria go Whale watching on the 'Prince of Whales Boat trip'.

Sorry, poking my nose in there but I am so envious of you going over there.

Canada is a beautiful country populated by great people. I am sure you will have a great time. I am envious of you :-)

We've pre-booked a wildlife day trip from Banff so we're very much looking forward to that.
