Homegrown options

I'm pretty certain that Sheikh Mansour stated that we wouldn't be spunking £100million+ every transfer window, otherwise there's no point having a youth set up.

From what I have seen of the EDS I think kean Bryan does ñot appear to be a million miles away from Delph. Disappointed he has not been included on the tour.

I know he has just signed a contract at wham but mark noble could easily do the Delph job.

Should be in for scneiderlin though, it's a no brainer

Think i've read somewhere on the forum that he needed 1 more year to be qualified as HG but maybe i'm mistaken

Yes. But being under-21 is better (from a roster standpoint) than being HG. You are only allowed 0-8 HG players. You are allowed 0-unlimited under-21 players.

When Kelechi becomes HG, he will have more roster-restricting implications than he currently does now. That's all.

What's the status of Will Hughes? Were we not linked with him a while back.
I can't say I've seen too much of him to know if he's any good. I just know he was highly rated.
Anyone know how he's progressed?

Song would of been a good option before he got injured. There is a lot of flapping about home grown quota. We have all been waiting for these so called superstar kids to get there chance. This is the perfect opportunity. If the kids don't get called on to fill the gaps now then will they ever?
