Barnsley at home FA Cup.....at the end of the game after all the coin throwing etc..City trying to drag a Barnsley fan over the wall at the Kippax near the exit ..would have ended badly...old bloke walking out next to me..i thought he was going to start moan about youth of today etc..he just shouted ''drag the c*nt over'' Loads of pubs got done in around Hyde, Ashton Rd etc as Barnsley made the way to south Manc..Went off everywhere that day

Staylbridge at Frickley was worse , lads tried to take refuge in the dressing rooms and the Frickley players even joined in the mayhem !!!

Went there with Chorley as a kid,not for the faint hearted,loads of Leeds in that day,proper messy that was,scary to be honest

Correct no escort back to the coaches but Dibble arrived to enforce the coaches left when they said even though we where still waiting for people to get on
Then the police escorted the coaches all the way back to the boarder with England
I was bursting for a piss when I got on the coach when we where finally allowed to stop near the boarder it gave me great satisfaction to piss all over the welsh side

There was loads of trouble at Maine Rd, can't believe the poster who said he never witnessed any. I remember a riot on the forecourt outside the Main stand against Chelsea in 89, that was bad. A big lump of a Chelsea fan who had obviously whacked a blue was on his side taking a bit of a kicking off three blues, one with blood trickling down his face.
