Possible, but that might mean us not seeing the best of him until season 21-20.

We saw how depleted the engine room was after our CL exit, so it would only have been further stretched had we progressed in that competition, and with it looking like young loanees such as Garcia and Luiz are not returning, I’d be tempted to test Lyon’s resolve now.

Not really. Rodrigo is the constant. Partey and Saul play multiple positions. Sometimes the midfield, sometimes fullback or in Partey's case as a sub off the bench.

I think folks just project that all 3 can be DMs as they've all played there at one time or the other.

I would sign Aouar next season regardless of whether Gundogan stays or goes. He can play as a number 6, a number 8, a number 10 and on the wings like Bernardo. Seems like a very versatile player. One player which will adapt to our system quickly due to his high intelligence of the game. Big fan of his.

He is a very skilful player, reminds me a lot of Nasri when he was younger. Not the fastest, but neither is Bernardo Silva. He would be able to play on the wing, but it wouldn't be his preferred position.

I have no doubts he would be able to kick up a few levels under Pep however. Id be interested to see what the plan is if we bring him in. We are only expected to lose Dave so where does this all fit together.
