Still skeptical over this transfer if it does happen.

I think he will be an amazing signing and fit us like a glove, but don't see how this won't impact Foden's game time. Next season was meant to be the big one where he takes over from Silva and instead we've done our usual by signing a £50m replacement when we already have a ready made one.

If he's here to replace Gundo, then fair enough - the perfect transfer. But I can't see him leaving yet unless he personally pushes for a move away. Time will tell though.

Mendy spent the summer doing everything to indicate he was signing, if I remember correctly that photo of him with the bag was when he got a flight from LA to Manchester.

Who can forget the photo of him in the dunes in Dubai wearing union jack swimming shorts!

Its easy to do 1+1 = 3 but this looks to be straight out of the same playbook as Mendy. Private jet, eyes emoji and just enough in the shot of the bee.

I don't think he is over here signing a contract or having a medical but could well be having a chat with Pep and Txiki.

Quite possibly, I have read enough about Pep to think that often he wants to "meet" the man. You can only do so much via a phone call. I am sure Txiki has a deal worked out with Lyon so we can hit the button if Pep gives the nod.
