What a shameful statement to make. I really doubt that you are a true City fan if it would be a dream summer if two City players who have given good service to the club both on and off the field were the leave at the end of the season.
I sometimes wonder what has happened to our fan base since we became rich and successful.
Over the years (40+) an element of the fans have picked on a particular player at every opportunity and it’s part of the club‘s fan base I hate.
I still miss Steve Lomas.

Was too young when Big Joe was slaughtered when he first came into the team but he turned out ok
TBH it was harder to find a player to pick on when we were really bad because all of them were shit

We have gundogan, rodri and ferna for that next season.
For CAM (when we normally play 2) we only have kevin, bernie and foden - we need another in that mould. Number 8 not 4

Fernandinho might be played as a CB next year as well. Especially with Garcia's situation. Even then, he will leave within a year. Gundogan is also the midfielder who is most likely to leave after Fernandinho IMO.

Looks like the Dippers have been up to their old tricks - tapping up players- Norwich have complained but after the VVD fiasco (where Klopp was caught red handed) I very much doubt the FA will lift a finger.

Alternatively, bring Luiz back from Villa to cover the season. An injury to Rodri means we are reliant on Fernandinho in the middle and his legs have not looked up to that task; similarly, it’ll be a tall task if we ask Ake to play that pivotal role. The squad looks very good if we make our signings, but an injury to Rodri and things will quickly go awry.
