How are we all feeling then?

Gutted... Such a tepid performance... But it had been for weeks which makes me believe something is going on behind the scenes

Sat on the train home which also stopped at Wigan; so was amusing listening to Wigan fans who were dumbstruck they won - fair play to them

Fine. To be honest, i expected it, given the way we haven't turned up at all this season bar a few games.

Did we underestimate them? I don't know.

Do we not have enough confidence? I don't know.

But what i do know is that we had too many players not pulling in the same direction, and ultimately, even against a depleted Wigan side, we paid for it.

Congratulations Wigan for we never looked like winning this game.

Obviously dissapointed but not as devastated as I always thought I would be if I saw city lose a cup final. Think that's down to our opponent and the Mancini/Pellegrini rumours and also knowing we will be in many more finals and title races to come.

This but i didn't expect it i just looked no further than the thought...

"I hope good city and shit wigan turn up and not vice versa"

The rest i agree with verbatim.

Never felt this way after a match before. Everything about today was just odd. The atmosphere, the fans, the game etc. We didnt deserve to win so I'm not that deflated, just gutted that the players played at 50% for some reason. I'm sure something had happened that we still don't know about, and it effected them.

Pissed off but we didn't deserve much. Quite clearly our preparation for this game was not even close to being right.

The PR fiasco on the managerial front also pissed me off. It pissed me off last week and it pissed me even more today. Right now we are all over the fucking place and looking like dicks in the process. Its a rerun of the Hughes sacking debacle...

...ah whatever. Just appoint Pellegrini and get it over with and next time we have a cup final take the fucking week off.

Fucking shambles from top to bottom. Starting to get nostalgic for Cook.

Just back after a long day, my 10 year olds first Cup Final and my overwhelming diss ointment is the behaviour(or lack of) from a number of City fans sat around us, a scrap broke out behind us, people arguing over sitting down or standing up. I know the football on the pitch was dreadful but the atmosphere became extremely volatile to the point where there were kids around us, including my son, crying because they were scared. This was the FA Cup Final FFS, I expected a party atmosphere with opposition fans who have no history of trouble with us, instead it turned into fight night and a day to forget for all the wrong reasons
