This is the problem. Trains are a dear do, especially if you're paying for a few people. Staying over all adds to the cost but you can make a weekend of it at least. Or drive/coach and risk the traffic.Bothers driving, all staying over night of the game, back home Sunday.
Have driven a few times, last year v Sheff U and traffic was horrendous, step son and wife’s first trip to Wembley and missed kick off due to it.
Went train on my own for Chelsea few weeks ago and was fine but too damn expensive for 3 of us for the final so found hotel which was cheaper and chill out after the game.
Our coach is dry, which definitely doesn't suit everyone.Coach 6am start from Barrow alternatives poor as trains are shite.
Settle in few beers have a crack London around 11,12 ish
See blues pick up another trophy party bus on way home.
As someone's said earlier you need to be coach fit .
M40 is best. Police said it was rags only, we went down it and there was still more Blues than rags. Made the mistake of going back M1, which was hammered. M40 both ways this yearA cup final is a bit different, you're stuck in traffic forever.
That's a tough trip thatOur coach is dry, which definitely doesn't suit everyone.
