The standard of officiating hasn't improved. Thought the ref was poor and the linesman that flagged for offside doesn't know the rules.
Im thinking he probably does know the rules and in fairness I could even see why the lino would think he was offside although thinking and actually seeing are 2 different things. The ref was just shit for the first 30 minutes
Ref was shit for 90 minutes.
No it was 30 shit minutes followed by 60 minutes of bog standard premiership refereeing

No, you are wrong, as everyone apart from one poster is currently agreeing.

I think Toure dived. No doubt he felt something but he decided to go down like a sack of spuds and risk a booking. I just wish he'd stayed on his feet and scored instead of diving.

Absolutely no need for him to dive, he was goal side of the defender, pull the trigger its a goal

The point still remains if Marriner believed that he dived he should have booked him, you cant just wave it away in that situation its either a penalty or a booking for simulation.

Don't take this the wrong way mate, but have you played much football? Do you realise how difficult it is to keep on your feet when you're pushed whilst running at pace? Definite penalty imo.

Someone's made a gif of Taylor clotheslining Sergio.

At least he got that one right, straight red, no question.

Yep he was awful. Summed up by him getting hit by the ball with his back to it from a few yards away. I'd like to think by his own devices that he thinks he had a stinker.

I'm sure he will do. I would think part of their job is to watch the game again and see where they've gone wrong, if at all. If that is the case he will be in agreement with us that he had a stinker.
