How big is the Arsenal game!

This is the next big test to see if we can step up or whether we choke (like Utd, Surs at end of last season and Arsenal and Everton, this season).

By law of averages we will eventualy have to pass the test. We will need to if we are to keep ahead of Spurs for 4th.

It must be time warp day. Anymore choking comments? May as well get them out of the way now. FYI there has been no choking. The uphill road to success is always a bumpy one. CTID

Oh dear..

Who is the ref? Given the way they throw themselves about at every opportunity, this could be decisive.
If Silva and Mario are both fit, it is a game we can win. The centre of their defence is mediocre, as Wigan proved. If not, a draw is a good result.

That clears it up then. BTW an elipsis requires three full points and not two.

Big match but only three points. Not that long ago Chelsea were top and looking as if they may run away with the title. I'd take a draw but if we were to win that would be fantastic and help to show the media that we are a team that can play and compete at the very top.

Would love it if we score a truly special goal. Is this the moment Balotelli or Silva have been waiting for. Surely Tevez will have his shotting boots on for this one.

This game is massive for us and Arsenal!

Someone posted earlier that Arse still have to go to Chelski, this is not true Arse have already been and they lost 2-0 but won at the Emirates 3-1. Their 'BIG' games left are Man U at home but away at Spurs. It's Spurs that still have to go to the Bridge.

Chelski losing today is not too good for us as it keeps Spurs breathing down our necks!

Also someone posted that Arsenal's defence is weak, again slightly misleading. Their defence is weak when they come under arieal bombardment, long ball or on free kicks into their box. Given we don't play like this (thank god) and we have only scored ONE HEADER in the league we are realistically not going to put them under the kind of pressure they cannot cope with. Don't forget the Arse punish teams who like to play football, they beat Blackpool 6-0!!!!
