Just wondered whether Fulham Road sees similarities in the way in which clubs and fans looked upon Chelsea when they got their money to what's happening to us now.

Yes, mate, it's identical but the whole 'you bought the league' thing is wrong. You cannot buy the league, you need a good foundation, the right team and the right management. Of course we wouldn't have the success without the money, but the balance needs to be right, it isn't simply a matter of spunking money up the walls. Real Madrid proved that last season. Manchester City could, but I think the success will come along because the balance seems more or less right.

It's really down to envy. If a Billionaire bought their club they wouldn't complain. I mean, I'm sure there were a few City fans that accused Chelsea of buying the league etc. but now are absolutely loving it.

...and Neville, don't worry man, a misunderstanding.

It seems a fair assesment. City have still got a fair way to go before we can match Chelsea and the Rags level

Don't see why you or him had to stick your nose in at all in the 1st place tbh. FR 32 misunderstood my post & thought I was having a go at Chelsea which I wasn't. I reacted by saying it was none of his business. He explained & I've apologised for the misunderstanding & you along with others are sticking your nose into a situation which two people have sorted amongst themselves in spite of your interference rather than because of it..

You've been as helpful as a hole in a parachute.

none of his business? you actually said "who the fuck asked you"

big difference.

ps, i ALWAYS stick my nose in.

Big difference? Means exactly the same thing you bignosed git ;-)

Now that's just not true is it?

Two weeks after announcing they've signed him... they've still not signed him yet!

Or has he now signed after all?

But if he hasn't signed then it proves it's not just City that struggle to close deals.

theyl win the league now because of this signing imo
Really? Who will he replace? I can't see him starting which says a lot about the strength of the Chelsea midfield

Their defence maybe beginning to creak. Terry has looked a bit off the pace in the World Cup, Charity Shield and for England in the friendly

Title is a 3 way battle between Chelsea, Utd and Arsenal

he wont replace anyone i dont think, because obv essien and lampard are the first choice cms, but i think hes got the energy and quality to step in when theyr not playing, i obv over reacted earlier i guess, but it still makes me think theyr more likely to win it
