Is Stones injured or has he been dropped completely the last two games?

Combine his form at the start of the season with the current form of Laporte and we’d be laughing for next season as a pairing, or two thirds of a back 3 either side of VK or Otters.

I don’t think another CB is needed. Back 3 with Walker allows another option at wing back? Sterling could be deployed there cos under Pep it would be a high high line for WB!

Walker’s form has slipped like Otters, all of a sudden his relatively poor delivery in the final third is much more noticeable.

Left side Mendy will be like a new signing.

Get in def mid to share the burden with Ferny and a top drawer striker and we will be ok.

I’d rather we push the boat out on fantastic additions for those 2 positions than sign 3 or 4 players.

Remember the young core of our squad will just keep getting better and better.

Stones is dropped,another stupid buy,as Pep doesn't see him able I think,and the stick he used to give him from the sideline when he did play was incredible

Do people really want Gundogan out?

Really likeable guy, but don't think he quite cuts it when it comes to consistency

Couple of things for me, I really want to see Stones back in the team. His defensive frailties at times are worth it due to what he gives us going forward - none of the others step up enough to support Fernandinho.

The other thing, and linked to it, is we have to get De Bruyne further up the pitch again where he can operate more in the final third and do more damage.

Stones played in some of Citys best performances and he should of been given more game time recently,played well for england last time out
Roma went through after only being 1-0 up at half time,City are a much better team than Roma,so the mentality should still of been strong
Going apeshiete over the disallowed goal was a mistake however justified

Roma scored their winner from an excellent inswinging corners the City corners that didnt result directly in an offside were all outswinging rubbish
