But even a £10 note is only a tradeable thing that you can spend in any shop. If you went to the Bank of England and asked for its value, they would give you another, or two £5s. It has no inherent value at all, except that all of us in the UK are agreed that it has.
A British 'kitemark' or whatever you call it has no possible value outside the UK. And not in it, if people have any sense. If it's not up to EU standards, it's inadequate. If it's equal to them, it's pointless. There is no way on God's green earth that it will be above EU standards. That's not what Brexit was about. It was about cutting standards and protections, on the grounds that cnuts like Rees-Mogg think them too good as they are and that we should all accept shoddy goods.
