How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

It was a disaster waiting to happen if you never get a clear mandate to carry out such a huge decision, fed on lies from the right wing press NHS would be better off by millions of pounds a week , whilst Eaton and Windsor are waving union flags probably made in Far Eastern countries from the white cliffs at migrants whilst the Russian navy wave back at them.
Yep it’s turned out rather lovely.

Who knew? Well this was another warning ignored by the gammons.

The labour shortage probably would not have been near as bad if it wasn't for COVID as every single EU worker qualified for at least for Pre-Settled Status (as long as they applied) or Settled Status if they had spent 5 years here.

With places shutting and people returning to origin countries it has made the situation a lot worse, although there is always churn it was accelerated.
Isn’t that the point though? In an uncertain world, leaving the EU has left us more exposed to the vagaries of world and human events.

That and also to the whims of domestic politicians. I get that’s exactly what a lot of people voted for but it really is a be careful what you wish for. It works if a government is truly interested in all of the people they govern. A lot aren’t though, only in those that vote for them and sometimes not really even in that.

Taking back control indeed.

Rees-Mogg showing that however expensive your education if you have a sense of entitlement you can twist the truth in your own head and spout bollocks - that or he is a bare faced liar - or maybe both?

The truth has always been reserved for retrospective views of historical events.

It is no coincidence that calling another person a liar in the Houses of Parliament is seen as the worst sin of all.

I come back from Brussels few weeks ago and it whizzed by my stop and I had to journey back from London

The only time thats happened to me is when I was pissed and fell asleep lol

When I used to go into London I used to use the Northern Line so I parked the car at High Barnet station and got the tube to Bank. Reason being that after a long meeting in a stuffy room and having been up early to get there I was always in danger of nodding off however if you leave the car at the terminus of the line you will always get back home without drama - method in the madness see?
