I just can't fathom as to why any politician won't call it out for the shit show it is. Surely not everyone of them voted leave.why aren't the remainers jumping all over it. Fucking weird, it's like the Illuminati are watching over them all and they aren't allowed to.

but we will still have to convince 27 member states - 28 if Scotland leave us and rejoin the EU.......

I do not like Starmers take on "lets make Brexit work" but as someone rapidly approaching 62 years old I think we need the generations above mine and most of mine to pop our clogs before "lets rejoin" will be a political reality - personally I find that sad but it provides hope for my kids and grand kids I suppose

The Tories are driven by the fucking despicable and odious FRG and daren't even mention the prospect of rejoining , and Labour seem to have zero enthusiasm for even suggesting it.

It is obvious that he Brexit exit was a bloody disaster for the UK and yet none of our so called politicians have the bollocks to call it out for what is was.


Even if the Tories manage to sit it out until an election , I doubt that Labour will want to risk losing their clear advantage in case it tucks up their chances.

Therefore the pressure to go back into the EU has to come from the electorate, but there are probably enough stupid and entrenched pro Brexit supporters who will resist and ruin the chances for a future generation.

A totally sad and worrying situation created by fucking Boris and the Tory cronies in their selfish and self satisfied stance.

and as the poster above rightly mentions , it then needs the member states to agree, although I personally think we would be welcomed back .

Hunt was a remainer which is baffling how he can sit there and defend what is happening to the country. Truss was as well, Johnson is writing essays about how Ukraine should join the EU. They are chancers who look at where the wind is blowing and cease an opportunity to make a quick penny as political operators.

Exactly why none of the fuckers can be trusted on whatever they may say in public.

They will go whichever way suits them best financially/ career wise irrespective of pledges they might make to their constituents.

And the gullible will slavishly believe them despite the regular evidence of their utter duplicity.

It is a national scandal that Boris Johnson wrote essays in support of both remain and leave and couldnt decide which until he saw a personally beneficial opportunity in jumping on leave. This tory govt are nothing more than chancers.
