Absolutely right.Isn't it amazing that we all benefitted from smooth international travel across the EU when we were in the EU and had as many opt-outs and as much autonomy as we wanted? Freedom of travel, freedom to work, study, etc., was available to us all.
And we chose/decided to give all that up, leave the EU and set our own hard borders, so choosing to become a third country, and yet there are Brits who complain that they now have to suffer stricter border controls when flying to the EU?
Wake up and smell the coffee! The UK now has the same status as every other non-EU country. They treat every person from a third country who enters the EU the same. Do you think Brits should be treated differently? And you f+++in chose that!
The same people that said they would negotiate a wonderful deal with the European Union are the same one that said they would negotiate a wonderful deal with the United States. Conceit.Absolutely right.
There seems to have been a genuine school of thought that brexit meant we would have all the benefits without actually paying for, and being a member of ,the EU and that we would be treated exactly the same.
The idea that it would work both ways seems to have somewhat escaped the brexiters.
A good two minute summation of the problem from the BBC.

That’s worth a double like.Fuck them. I'm glad there are queues as it keeps the momentum for rejoin and the disaster of brexit in the spotlight.
Personally I think there should be separate queues for those that voted for brexit that take three days and a fast track lane for remain voters - maybe then the penny would drop

Yeah.That’s worth a double like.
Why should it be a benefit of being in the club? We weren't in Schengen so it's not like we got away with passport-less travel in the EU anyway. Other than getting a stamp I can't really see the difference, I've queued before we left and I'm still queueing. You fail to understand that there has to be a benefit to ''being in the club''
other than the expectation that because you're British everyone should roll out the red carpet.
