How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

I hope they are delighted that they have got what they voted for.

It's not up to us if we want to rejoin. Yes, leaving has been a huge mistake, but rejoining is going to be on their terms. They aren't bothered about us leaving, it was our decision as an independent sovereign nation, but they are going to put in place three key points if we want to rejoin.

We have the Euro as our currency.
We join the Shengen area.
We have proportional representation in our elections.

It's going to be decades before those conditions are agreed, if ever. It will be a test of our commitment to the cause.

it's 20 years since the Czech Republic joined the EU and they still haven't adopted the Euro. Schengen is being eroded. Is PR a requisite?
