Probably similar to what food places do with poached eggs & throw them in ice water to prevent the yolk from cooking any further, then deep friedPickled
Scotch
Here's a question, I've made a lot of Scotch eggs but have no idea how they make ones with a runny yolk in the middle. Any idea ?
It's the man handling of the sausage meat that makes it difficult, maybe I squeeze mine too hard, get a runny explosion out of the endProbably similar to what food places do with poached eggs & throw them in ice water to prevent the yolk from cooking any further, then deep fried
You can`t beat eggy bread with bacon or sausage on the top of it with brown sauce. What about that perennial favourite of the Royle family, eggy bread? Must admit tried it once and wasn’t overly impressed…
I can only eat them in the house, as I end up with it all over my face and whatever I’m wearing. Totally delicious but carnage. Can’t beat a runny egg butty. Also love scrambled egg on toast, just seasoned with salt and pepper
