How Do You Solve A Problem Like Mancini?

We shoot more than enough times in the area. Sadly they're all blocked or the shoots are powder puff stuff. It's shots from 25+ yards we need more off. Only Milner tried any at Sunderland at that was only from the 80th minute. Sadly both of them were high, wide and not particularly handsome.

We have some of the best players in the world and shooting from 25+ is the answer. Yes, I can see the logic in that.

It's all about mixing up build up play and speed. We seem to rely too much on getting into the position for the killer pass to break through a defensive line and much less on speed to get behind the defensive line. Ok we have fullbacks for this but this is not working as productively as last season.

This is because our game is sussed by opponents and everyone tries their luck with sitting back and counter attacking which invariably works for opponents.

Mancini needs to cut out a significant chunk of this type of play... that looks rather crab like at times and use more speed and quick passing 'forwards' to catch the opponents off guard rather than being arrogant in thinking we can pass the ball into the net each game.

Were far to predictable as others have said. Yaya scored plenty from outside box at Barca but not for us ? We do ok from corners but in open play Tevez and Aguero not target men hence whats the point in playing with wingers ??? No option but to put the nobhead Balotelli in the side in my opinion. I fear were already destined for 2nd at best. Give him a chance to prove himself. The ability is there we know that.

they don't have to be target men look at rooney van presie and hernandez, get it wide and whip it in low as often as possible, our strikers are running onto the ball defenders towards their own net, much more chance of a goal than feeding to their feet with backs to goal on edge of 18 yard box, i will never dislike Mancini but just think we can only move on to the next level with a different manager as he will never go with wingers, you can all say i think Mancini knows more than you mate, but im afraid the most successful manager in premiership history knows more than Mancini and he ALWAYS plays with wingers, just copy the fucker
