How do you true blues feel about the enigmatic Mario Balotelli?

I really didn't like him at all. Far too many people were conned by this supposedly "world class" footballer. Every time you raised a legitimate question about his poor performances you would just get the usual idiots replying with the same old shit: "potential" "potential" "potential" "potential" or that he was a "legend" despite doing nothing on the field to support this.
And It makes me laugh how people use "that pass" as if that justifies his time here. If he hadn't been so shit and a loose cannon on the pitch then we wouldn't have needed to go into the QPR game needing to win we could have had the title wrapped up already. He will be sold from Liverpool and will probably end up back in Italy and when he flops at that club he will end up playing for some second division nobodies before retiring at 30. When/if he ever grows up he will look back on his career with huge regret at what he could have been if he had only actually worked a day in his life instead of coasting by on natural talent.

You've just dropped down my list of favourite posters.I was as big a fan of his as the next guy but anyone who says they'd have him back is as deluded as the man himself.
I think I posted this last week. I love reading about his antics whilst he's at another club but wouldn't want his circus anywhere near us. He had the talent but he's wasted it. Every move he makes now will see his star fade and his earnings and profile will drop considerably.
His next move will be to a mid table club and he won't be good enough for them either. By the time he finally realises what a prick he's been, it will be too late.

It's impossible to second guess what goes on in someone else's head, and even harder when it's Mario's head! He always looked to me as if he didn't actually care about the game, not that he wasn't trying, just that he didn't really care about it. Yeah, he wanted to win, but if we lost, well so what, it didn't matter that much to him. That's probably why he was so good at penalties, because he didn't look further than the penalty kick, the consequences of scoring or missing didn't enter his head. I'm not convinced he will look back on his football career and think he underachieved because I'm not convinced he will actually look back on his career at all. He seems to be getting 'found out' quicker at every club he goes to and so his transfer value and his wages reduce accordingly. It's nice that we remember him fondly for the Aguero moment and for the 'Ferdinand wink' but the thought of him coming back scares the shit out of me.

His career seems to have taken a nose dive of late, which is a shame but I will always be a fan of Balotelli. I hope he can revive his career.

The goal that stands out for me was the opener in the 1-6. I don't think many players alive could have scored that and made it look so easy.
I like the guy a lot, always will. But unless he has grown up, I don't think he can come back to us.
