How do you true blues feel about the enigmatic Mario Balotelli?

No regrets over buying him. Never a dull moment with him at the club and he had people around the world talking about us, whether that be positively or negatively. And his one assist led to us winning the title so will always be remembered for that. However I don't miss moments like this:

Hope we get to see a similar image with him and Rodgers next season. Now that would be hilarious.

I'd take him back. No rationale behind it but then nothing is when it comes to Mario.
I always had a soft spot for him and thought he was on a hiding to nothing from our illustrious press. I suppose his behaviour was always how I'd imagine my own would be if I was playing proffesional football and earning shed loads of money at a young age.
Fortunately the management at the club don't think like me..

A lot of bollocks is talked about Mario, 86 goals in 223 appearances is not quite the flop people like to portray. Involved in some great moments for us and a good laugh, I like him a lot

So why was he sold despite this reasonably impressive strike rate? Why has he already played for Inter, City, Milan and Liverpool despite being so young? There were undoubtedly some entertaining moments but he left having contributed nothing for half a season and raised more tabloid headlines than the rest of our squad combined.

Some of the greatest moments I've ever experienced watching City, involved Balotelli, but In a Tony Coleman sort of way, it's probably best that he left when he did. That way the memories remain positive.

Treated in an appalling manner by the press. Acts of fun and generosity were manipulated by the media into hell worthy offenses while scum bags had there misdeeds brushed over, or buried. He was openly targeted by officials and our club did nothing it was outright racism . Infact we were despicable, our leadership used him as tool to humiliate Mancini. Never should have been sold just a Mancini should never have been sacked. If we could buy him at a good price he would come back be outstanding for us.

Headlines don't write themselves. There was nothing about Silva, Aguero or numerous others. Balotelli made a rod for his back with his deeply puerile and pathetic behaviour. He's an attention seeking freak who is already on a downward spiral with Liverpool.

Maybe the memory plays tricks sometimes, but as I recall Mario did his best to self-destruct in the 2nd half of the first title winning season and luckily Tevez decided to put in a shift to offset the damage.
Was he self-destructing when his 2 goals dragged us back into the 3-3 draw with Sunderland, the week before Arsenal?

I loved Mario when he was here.

And while I agree that he has wasted the wonderful talent he has with his terrible attitude, he undoubtedly brought us some unforgettable moments, such as the first goal in the Sick Swan, the shoulder goal against Norwich and the brilliant acrobatic effort at Blackburn.

He would be a great addition to our publicity department after he retires, but I wouldn't want him back as player.

I honestly don't see how anyone can dislike Balotelli, I love the bloke. He reminds me a bit of myself in the sense that you can tell people love him as a person even though he's a cheeky, naughty, loveable rogue type but you can tell he doesn't mean any harm to anybody, it's just his personality.

As a player we've clearly moved on and he's so far off Aguero and even Bony in terms of consistency of performance that we'd never have him back but he'll always get a great reception from me any time he comes back, he clearly has a strong affinity with the club and fans in such a short period.
