How good of a cook are you?

Love cooking, the whole process is so rewarding.
Make my own flat bread for souvlakis, chapatis for home made curries and knock out i good roast dinner (Yorkshire puds, homemade).
If you can read, you can cook.
How hard can it be to follow a recipe?
Can't follow a recipe to save my life, trial and error is the way to go.

That's why i'm shit at baking, 'Ach, that'll do' doesn't usually end well.

The only stuff in our freezer is left overs and fish fingers.

Both me and the wife like cooking.

Can't stand those frozen garlic breads they stint and they repeat on you for days.

Garlic butter is butter, garlic and some parsley if you want the green flecks. Get some french bread slice it, butter it then put it back together and stick it in an oven. Garlic bread!

Better still mince the garlic and mix with olive oil then spread on ciabatta. warm it through and then grill it. Much nicer!

I'm a fantastic cook!

Did you know that your average baked beans can be greatly improved by the addition of black pepper whilst heating.

Try it. You will be amazed.

I may share more great tips later

I can cook but living on me jack can't be arsed cooking every night so thank god for Ready Meals and Takeaways

Slow cooker, tuperware containers and a freezer. get the stuff ready on a saturday morning, throw into the slow cooker, p-lace on low, go to game. come home from game 8 hours later, plate up and eat, then place the rest in containers and freeze, home made ready meals for the rest of the week, saves a fortune and far tastier than bought ready meals.

As i have lived on myown or 10 years now and havent starved to death or poisoned myself, I must be able to cook some stuff, but tend to stick to casseroles and curries during the winter, with the odd roast thrown in when feeling rich (usually the weekend after payday).
