Abba are still going aren’t they?
Chalk and cheese but point taken.

You could say the same about The Stones, Led Zep, Deep Purple, Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac,you could even squeeze Elton John in there..Hardly a " 60's band "....still filling stadiums now.Handful of good songs and that’s it.
If they weren’t a 60s band nobody would talk about them.
Don’t bother. Another round of money making by this clapped out wheeze box.JULY

I'm a fan of their early stuff and their first album is one I play a lot. I'm inclined to agree though - with no Moon, Entwistle and Roger who was always a great front man but never actually a great singer I can see this being a disappointment.Don’t bother. Think that was Daltrey - Townshend was an art student (?)...........Never liked them.
Townsend used to be a sheet metal worker just in case that matters to anyone.
saw them in their pomp and then last time round. Townsend still a good guitarist but Daltrey has lost whatever it was he had. Sadly not a Brexit benefit for the lad.I'm a fan of their early stuff and their first album is one I play a lot. No. If proof was ever needed that a good solicitor, money and fame could get you anything this is it.Did Pete Townshend ever get round to publishing that book he was researching that he needed the hard drive full of pics of naked kids for?
