How is everyone coping?

Positives : Much prefer working from home, don’t actually know how I did 15 years of travel in and out of London with my job.
managed to see my baby boy grow and develop and help out Mrs Bluehammer.
easier to go for my daily runs.
Hardly drink at all indoors.

negatives : miss the pub with mates and going out to restaurants etc
Knowing how isolated my family are and I can’t see them.

One thing I would add to that is as somebody who has spent an equal amount of time working from offices and home office you should try and keep an eye on making sure that you and your mrs find time and ways to create space for each other.

First year or so the novelty will carry you, but it can become claustrophobic if adjustments are not made if it is to become a permanent arrangement. Obviously every partnership has different dynamics so I am not even sure what column you would put this in for your pros and cons ;-)

I’ve got some dumbbells that I’ve been using but again it’s not sorting the back out.

Cant really order a new chair as got nowhere to put it and my house is full of stuff the for the baby.

I’ve been trying different cushions to straighten my back but that doesn’t seem to work either.

Work are sending me my actual desktop out so I might try that somewhere and work standing up.

get a curved back corrector for your chair. That will help

Been having a loft conversion dorma done for the last two and a half months so the living in a building site has distracted my mind from the outside world.

And lots of gin helps too.
