How many more people will now become City fans?

One of my twelve year old daughter's football coaches is a rag. He tried taking the piss out of her when she wore her, at that time, new City Haaland top to training. She wanted to show her mates. They all do it when they get new football shirts.

She wore it again soon after. He tried it again. She looked at him and said, "Your team hasn't won the league since before I was born," just like I told her to say. :) Thank you to whatever Mooner suggested that in a previous thread.
Oh to be able to use a quote like that

when we were away on hol a grown man, probs in his 50s , walked past my son on the coach when we first arrived, saw his city top and said, “will you still wear that when youre in the national league?”.
My son neither knows about the charges, nor cares anyway, he just fuckin loves city.

A few days later we saw the same guy in a middlesborough top, he again couldnt help himself and said “proper team” whilst pointing at his badge. My son just said, and he was being utterly genuine, “ive never heard of them”. The sad **** looked crest fallen.

I didnt even smile and join in the ‘bantz’ with the prick. I hate that sort of bullying.

Surprised your daughters coach took the piss out of her shirt. I coach my sons u9s and its a big no no
I love the, "never heard of them,"!

I think normally the coach wouldn't do it with most of the kids. He's actually a decent bloke other than being a rag. It isn't the coach for the team she for which she regularly plays. He's been one of the coaches for a select team that has gone to Spain the last two summers and played in a couple of tournaments. He's generally good with the girls. Maybe he just thought he was being funny. Happily, she got the best of him in the end.

Postman at the door the other day, in Coventry. Sees my City hat. 'Oh, you're a Man City fan. Are you one of those new ones?' Righto. 'I don't know any fans like that', I replied. FFS.

Yeah i do a bit of rib tickling with my lads in fairness but its part of the training to be a coach that you have to be very careful

On a cruise round the Med and it’s mainly City and Arsenal shirts. However, apart from the odd Manc accent most talk the same accent.

A group of tourists, some from Vietnam, who I spoke to, visiting the Etihad this Afternoon.

Wonderful. Well done that young blue.
The silence of the rags.

The morons are unlikely to ever change.

However youngsters around the world will continue to gravitate to City....they're only interested in our success, style,Erling etc.

Success breeds success, and kids are our future.
