How many points to win the league?

And yet we've had to rely on Raheem pulling a rabbit out of the hat on a few occasions recently against "easily beatable" teams?

We shouldn't get too cocky, as today has shown, a few off days, bad refereeing decisions, injury to a few key players could cost us the league regardless of how well we've performed so far.

One game at a time is my motto, until it's mathematically certain.
Absolutely. How we can even be considered "greatest English team ever" "world beaters" "title winners" (all names we've been called on here), is beyond me. Threads about this record being broken, that record being broken. It'll all count for fuck all until and if we win the league. Save the hyperbole 'til then.

We won’t get anywhere near the same points per game in the second half of the season. Just been looking at the fixtures and we have to not get complacent at all.

Spurs away, Everton away, Liverpool away, Burnley away, Chelsea and the bus parkers at home.

All tough games.

Need arsenal to get something against Chelsea on Wednesday.

Totally agree this week important with the arsenal v Chelsea game, plus we need the 3 points which won’t be as easy as some think. Still a very long way to go.

In our next four fixtures we have Watford, Newcastle and West Brom all at home. Nine points from those would certainly go a long way.

Agree if we can get a draw at anfield as well - that will be 10 points. Take us to 69 and 7 wins needed from 13 games to guarantee it.

Hopefully in the next set of fixtures, Arsenal and Everton can take points off of Chelsea and united respectively to make things a little easier.

Depending on Chelsea champs league progress I can see Chelsea only losing maybe 1 and 1 or 2 draws so Chelsea could get another 46/47 points that’s 91 points they could get so 93 points we need

Done some research over last 10 prem seasons today (tell i'm bored) and found below:

2008 - RAGS, 27 WINS/87 PTS
2009 - RAGS, 28 WINS/90 PTS
2010 - CHELSEA, 27 WINS/86 PTS
2011 - RAGS, 23 WINS/80 PTS
2012 - CITY, 28 WINS/89 PTS
2013 - RAGS, 28 WINS/89 PTS
2014 - CITY, 27 WINS/86 PTS
2015 - CHELSEA, 26 WINS/87 PTS
2016 - LEICESTER, 23 WINS/81 PTS
2017 - CHELSEA, 30 WINS/93 PTS

The average wins needed is 26.7 and average points is 86.8.
Going off that we will probably need 28-30 points more max - so in essence 10 wins should see us home.

But we will be playing those matches without Kev, arguably our player of the season so far. Very possibly without the creative genius of Merlin too ... I don't wish to intrude on his personal issues, but it would be nice if the club could give us some guidance on potential duration of his absence. Also without Jesus. And long-term absentee Mendy.

Games become alot less winnable if our most creative players are simultaneously unavailable. 14 points is a brilliant lead, but I don't take anything for granted. No room for complacency or presumption of wins. Odds are still in our favour, but less overwhelmingly than before the two key injuries at Palace yesterday.

At the 19 game (halfway) point the rags looked set for low to mid 80's if you doubled their points. I'd imagine anything over 85 should see us safe.
