How many points to win the league?

Hopefully in the next set of fixtures, Arsenal and Everton can take points off of Chelsea and united respectively to make things a little easier.

I'm with you on this one, even if were just 2 draws i would be happy, we are in a fantastic position due to the lead we have built up and this will hold us in good stead for the rest of the season. Given the situation with KDB, Silva and Jesus the next month will be really difficult.

Looking at the table as it stands now there are only 4 teams remaining who could get to the 90 point total, them being the current top 4. If the dippers draw one more game they can not get there. I think we will get there without too many concerns, The rags and Chelsea can not afford to lose any more than 2 games between now and the end of the season, if they do then we will sew it up no trouble.

chelsea are more than capable of going on a 10 match winning run, huge ask admittedly but they are capable, but then again city could be 4-0 up in the 80th minute and id still fear the worse

But we will be playing those matches without Kev, arguably our player of the season so far. Very possibly without the creative genius of Merlin too ... I don't wish to intrude on his personal issues, but it would be nice if the club could give us some guidance on potential duration of his absence. Also without Jesus. And long-term absentee Mendy.

Games become alot less winnable if our most creative players are simultaneously unavailable. 14 points is a brilliant lead, but I don't take anything for granted. No room for complacency or presumption of wins. Odds are still in our favour, but less overwhelmingly than before the two key injuries at Palace yesterday.

Put it this way though, as our nearest challenger even if they were to go the rest of the season matching our form of 2.81 points per game they would finish on 92 points, Given that our form is record breaking it is very unlikely for this to happen. This is 48 points from a possible 51, even if they did this we would need just 33 points from the 51 remaining to match them. Every time that Chelsea or the rags drop points the task gets easier for us .

Seriously if we fuck this up from here then Pep needs sacking :)

Agreed. Plus it's in our own hands to take points off them all, starting at Klanfield in our next away game. Come on City.
