Yes, Dias has played almost every game. But today would have been a stroll for him.

He would still have had 4 days rest before Dortmund.

I bet he will be playing against Chelsea 4 day’s after Dortmund.

Not having a pop at Pep. I appreciate he has to rotate. But with La Porte missing, Dias should have played.

Like every City fan I hope to God with the rested players City win on Wednesday against Dortmund. And if we do, I will give Pep all the credit he deserves. But at the moment I’m still pissed off we threw 3 points away today. That’s all. :-)

Its not the 3 points that bug me, it’s the one point! That was criminal.

TBH I don’t think a partnership of Stones and Dias would have struggled against Bamford.

Our full backs might have struggled against Raphina. I’ll give you that.

And they are currently losing despite only resting two players ;)

Also, their league games are more crucial than ours.. they pretty much need to win every week to get back in the CL spots.

As I keep on saying, with a fit La Porte, 100% right decision resting Dias.

Having to revert to the previously failed Stones and Fern centre-half pairing, there was always a risk of us letting a goal in.

Yes, the numerous chances not taken by the forwards left us vulnerable to a breakaway goal.
