As I keep on saying, with a fit La Porte, 100% right decision resting Dias.

Having to revert to the previously failed Stones and Fern centre-half pairing, there was always a risk of us letting a goal in.

Yes, the numerous chances not taken by the forwards left us vulnerable to a breakaway goal.

I don’t see it that way.. that goal wasn’t conceded to personnel and more due to leaving ourselves wide open due to trying get a winner... neither of which the inclusion of Dias would have changed.

Also... I really do think the Laporte injury is more reason to protect defenders for a crutch tie.

All my opinion though.

TBH I didn’t watch the match. Did an early start in work, so went to bed for a few hours. Haven’t seen the goals either. Don’t watch our defeats. My partner said the 2nd goal came through Stones and Fern, if correct? I doubt that would have happened if Dias was on the pitch.

I know that. But they are still 7 points adrift if they win.

Beating us on Wednesday with the team they are playing now wil bring them 1 step closer to winning th CL.
