Frustrating game as there 1st goal was from an error then a deflection, surprised the ball went in after hitting that much of the post maybe it was the spin from the deflection that helped it. The 2nd is too easy, but wouldn't of happened if we had got a winner ourselves. Just one of those days.

We should be pretty much there if you look at the chances missed in the united and leeds games. But if you told me we would be disappointed with an 8 point lead with 6 games left after the west brom game at the etihad i would of called you mental. To be in this position after the start we had is a great effort.

Good point, I don't think he'll rotate as much as he did at the weekend if we make it through on Wednesday. We'll still rotate but not to that degree.
Think he looked at April and thought we can afford to drop points against either Leeds or Villa, now we've dropped them think he'll now go stronger v Villa, if we'd won he may have gone weaker against Villa too. Think he'll see it as a free swing used up now.

Pep has some big decisions to make. IF we go through against Dortmund. We'll have Bayern/PSG in the semi-final before Palace and Chelsea in the league.

If Pep is bricking it half as much as some posters here. he'll have to risk KDB, Dias, Foden, Gundogan etc....before those games.

I don’t think we will see a significant amount of rotation if we get to those ties tbh. It’s the Carabao final a few days before the first leg of the semis then Palace away in between.

A huge factor in the selection for Leeds was the fact so many of our key players played 3 on the bounce during the international break imo.

Pep must be so frustrated at the moment. The team he put out created enough chances to beat Leeds and should have gone ahead before they scored. He did maybe make an error pushing Fern back into defense as he struggled there - too many lung-bursting runs earlier in the game maybe?

It was a shame that Kun was out as playing against ten men would have been ideal for him.
I think that, if we try to compete on four fronts then ineviatably we are going to stumble a bit as the season becomes congested - anyone expecting triumphant progress on all fronts is delusional.

I want the title and the chumps league which is a big ask. The cups would be nice but are a conumdrum. We really cannot put out second string teams in finals and semis. Our squad players need to step up and play their part.

Worth noting that we have the best squad and best manager, and they’re a shit United who clawed it past Brighton. Also, unlike 11/12, we don’t play each other again so no 6 pointers.

Brighton and Newcastle are 6 almost guaranteed points and United won’t win 7 on the bounce. When we’ve been leading this close to the end of the season, we’ve always won. Always. It’s just typical City nerves.

im not sure if any other team has got this close to winning all major competitions, nearly mid April and still in with a shout of all 4,this is quite incredible, the team will drop points as we shuffle players about to rest others,it has to be done, take no notice of the likes of sky bigging it up that the title chase is back on their just desperate to cream off some subscriptions for the remainder of games
