How much difference did Tevez make last night?

Hate to say it, but Tevez was integral to last night's performance and we played well for the first time in ages. I think Fergie hates the idea of Tevez being available to us for these last few games.

Did Tevez make the difference? And should we be starting him for the rest of the season?

yes he should, he must start on derby day...

The more you watch the highlites the better he looks. He was a key figure last night, agureo, silva, tevez looked great together.

Tevez gave us the edge when we beat chelski

people won't like it, but he was the reason the way we played differently.

We missed him, dropping off and dragging players out of position.

He dictates the way we play most the time, and last night he created goals without touching the ball. Just from his movement and dragging defenders here there and everywhere.

it's what he does best.

and yes, he should start EVERY game, Tevez and Aguero up top.

Yep spot on

I had to laugh when people offered up Ferguson's support for how Mancini had handled Tevez as evidence that he'd handled it well. Ferguson was pissing his sides that a hugely influential player had been taken out of the equation. Great to see him back, but I'm gutted it's taken so long for everyone to see the light. Just hope we haven't left it too late.

He made enough of a difference, but what we should consider is what difference he would have made had he started thirty odd matches this season.

It's all very well measuring the difference he makes but the trouble Balotelli delivers on and off the field pales into insignificance when you think of the matches we have lost by a single goal or drawn in Tevez's absence. He could have made the difference to going unbeaten this season. And we wouldn't now be talking of catch up and doing MANUre at The Etihad to stand a slight chance of nicking the title. If we manage to overhaul The Rags Carlos will move on and we will be grateful for his goals, but if we come second by a point or two . . . . . . . . . . . .
