Paid the mortgage off January 2018, got an unexpected promotion two months later! In other words, I am now probably worse off than I was! Couldn’t care less loving it!

This season, I flew from and back to New York on 26 occasions to catch home and aways plus ST, hotels..................... brilliant for the air miles but a fuck-fest on my savings!!

£2700 - includes match tickets and coach travel to and from the Etihad for each game.

Did 56 out of the 61 games - missed first 4 Euro aways and couldn't get a ticket for Newport in the FA cup.

Thought it'd be more, so in a way I'm reassured :-} It's those Euro aways that really rack up the total.

1 game City Newcastle at home, flying visit to see my old man, catching up with all the snacks and takeaway, few nights out with the boys , plus flights...an arm and a leg

Inflation rate is 2%
Average Season-Ticket price around £500 which is much cheaper than our rivals
So £20 increase is stand still price. Less than than and your football is getting cheaper. More and it is getting more expensive

When I first started using the coach I hated it; so uncomfortable.

However it is cheap, most expensive aways are £28 (Wembley £35), straight to the ground, police escort away, no looking for places to park, no parking fees, can have a drink at the ground, can read or sleep there and back. Swings and roundabouts really. I only care about being at the game so I'd never go back to driving to away games.

Season card, all home games in domestic cups, Leicester away in LC, 4 Wembley trips... including beer & travel there'll not be much change from a couple of grand.

You can't take it with you but it's an expensive high these days.

Check out trainpal.com for cheaper train tickets.

I compared it to trainline for a Mid day train single for 2 adults to York in September as im seeing some mates.
Trainline - £59
TrainPal - £33.80.

This could help many travelling around the country next year.

Got up to about £4000 tickets travel and hotels add beer and food to that and I dread to think,got say I've enjoyed every minute.
