Had a bad 24 hours. Suddenly felt very weary, massive headache, went to bed, woke up and retched, puked for the next few hours. This is the third time in two years this has happened. Exactly the same each time. Last time doc was baffled, gave me some meds for the wretching.
Any clues, anyone?

Great stuff, wishing you a speedy, painless recovery.Home from hospital after having a new right hip on Monday.
No pain at all when still, a bit of an ache after my exercises that goes when I get an ice pack on it.
Back at golf mid May I hope.

Wonderful. Was doing a solar panel install up in County Mayo, snow the whole way up. We wanted to turn around and rang ahead to be told by the customer that it wasn't snowing at his. Nearly got the van stuck under a bridge, had to take the ladder off in pouring rain. Got to the customers house, he said there was no way he would be working in this weather. It then began to snow and we set to work on a slippy, cold natural slate roof.
No idea really, but I had something similar a few weeks back. I'm rarely ill and felt bloody shocking that first day (especially the headache and nausea bit). It came from nowhere really and took 2 weeks before I felt 100 percent again.Had a bad 24 hours. It was some kind of bug I think as my partner also had it a few days later.
However, if it has happened to you before it might be worth another talk with your GP.

Glad you still have it mateForgot to say the dr i saw yesterday is a rag , i had a small city thingy pinned to my shirt , given to me by @Bigg Bigg Blue and @Blue Mist some years ago now , we had some good banter which was fun , seeing him again next week
