Bumped into this bloke yesterday..

Oh he's the guy that can't take penalties hahaha

Blue Mist - sad to hear that but absolutely agree with you. No excuse for throwing anything, even bread, and I wasn't condoning it. We moaned like hell about Man U fans throwing a missile at Bellamy and if we do similar then we can't complain about the consequences.

Majority of City fans were great last night and atmosphere in bars near entrance 21 was brilliant. But I have a few criticisms:

Why does nobody sit down at away games?- the bloke next to me with a walking stick was having some problems standing for 90 mins. We used to criticise Utd fans for exactly this behaviour.

Much more importantly Why when a significant number of lowlife were throwing coins at the home fans over the netting do most City fans turn a blind eye and pretend its not happening - and it was , often. And I was in block 535 and they were coming from near the back

Didn't enjoy the Hillsborough /80's style of leaving the ground

To the City fan trying to start a fight with other City fans on the Diagonal after the game - why bother ? You ruin our reputation abroad.

To the bloke they thinks Mangala is the answer to our problems - lol- we will just have to agree to disagree.

"You're just a shit Crystal Palace" funniest song in the night as Messi was pulling us apart.

Criticised rag fans for not sitting down? Come on mate don't be so ridiculous.

And the Mangala point - all about opinions. And the fact that it has bothered you to the point of coming to write it on Bluemoon! I actually despair.

When have we called united fans for not sitting down? Near enough every team stands up, it's part of an away day...

First post and it's moan moan moan. You'll fit in nicely ;-)

Let me double my posts and ask how that makes my view any less valid? On reflection the only thing that still detracts from the trip was the coin throwing and I am glad that others have acknowledged it on here - we just need a sufficient number of people to be bold enough to stop it when it is happening. Otherwise on to the West Brom game ......

Arrived on Tuesday at about 1600 - Met Squirtyflower in the main square. Heard about what some of the Bars were charging for a drink (Yes I could have got cans from the outdoor). Found a small tapas bar around the corner. Quick bite to it. Afterwards headed to the Manchester Bar of all names. 1e for a bottle of San Miguel, happy days. Good mix of Blues and Locals in there. Great evening. Afterwards bit more Tapas/Beer in another bar whilst watching the end of the Atletico Madrid game. Day of the game arrive. Off to the beach area, lot quieter than last year. Bit of lunch of Las Ramblas then back to the square. Spirits were high with no trouble at all. Yet it needed just one flash point and the police who were at all the entrances would have no doubt stormed in. Left there than got the Metro to Las Corts. As we came out of the metro we were advised by the police to go to another road as for some Barca fans we were not welcome in that particular area. Few drinks in a bar and happened to be sat with the lads we had met in the Manchester Bar the night before (Good lads if one of you are reading this). Once inside the ground, sat up in the clouds watching ants play football. A small minority thought it would be good to throw the odd coin over. Pathetic and uncalled for. Kept in for over 40 mins. Apart from the result and the coin throwing the whole day for me was spoilt on how we were treated. Kept in, and in a way forced marched past the line of coppers. All in Black, No id numbers showing and faces covered up. Intimidating and un called for. Done Barca away twice now. Doubt i will do it again. Then agin, ask me next season
Nice to meet you and Squirty too , nice fellas ...

A good trip had by all but as all teams we have our scum fans who decide to throw things over the net.

Saw plenty sniffing cocaine in the toilets in the square and you wonder why they behave like idiots. I had two lads next to me rubbing drugs into their gums every five minutes and left with 20 minutes to go as they had ran out and wanted more so went off to a local nightclub.

Not sure I would go again hopefully the draw will be kinder next season but ultimately need to perform a lot better as we are a million miles away.
