Excellent formation Dax but Clichy everytime over Kolarov,he is stronger defensively and his superior speed,agility and mobility make him the better option in the attacking role.

On the power of the 3 games from this season, it is my sense that Kolarov will start ahead of Clichy unless the opposition has a specialist speedster that needs defending. If what I saw at Bolton is the new Kolarov, I believe those who said "Give him time" got it right. He had none of the dumb shots from Mars. Put in early and devlish crosses. And was stout in the air, confident on the ground, and passed crisply and early.

Frankly Clichy can't beat that. I expect a Clichy start against the speed of Lenon. But against regular teams with regular pacev wingers, Kolarov will probably start most of those on this form.

So much versatility. It's truly unbelievable. Just hope no egos get bruised.

When we first declared our interest in Nasri it seemed farly clear cut. We'd still play 4-2-3-1, Nasri would replace Yaya in the middle of the "3". Yaya would drop deeper to replace Barry. The "3" would comprise Silva, Nasri and one of Balotelli, Milner or AJ depending on who and where we were playing. Aguero would replace Tevez as the lone striker.

Since then a couple of things have changed. Dzeko has been something of a revelation, Tevez hasnt gone. Additionally Barry & Milner were outstanding at Bolton. We now have an abundance of options.

Given Dzeko's form, I think Mancini will continue to develop the 2 striker option. But I think he'll eventually revert back to "Plan A". Tevez will be sold. When we start our CL campaign I dont see us playing 2 strikers away from home.

With Milner as the first sub to come in for a striker and Barry the first sub to come in for a midfielder. Balo, AJ and De Jong will lose the most minutes from this Stacked squad if injury does not play a role. WHich as we all know, it always does.

No real ball winning midfielder. Will be hard to break down possession when we come up against the big team's.
